1.0 Executive Summary

This assignment presents about the business environment that affect the business organizations. The mega environment and task environment was contained in the business environment. The introduction will show the history and evolution of Old town white coffee. Vision and mission decide the goal and plan of Old town white coffee. The product and services show us what product they can offer to the customers. Mega environment and task environment will show us the element of business environment how to affect the business operations and development. Conclusion reviews and concludes the whole assignment

2.0 Introduction of the organization

The old town white coffee was established in 1999. The co-founders and Executive Directors, Mr Goh Ching Mun and Mr Tan Say Yap want to sales more blend of 3-in-1 instant white coffees to Malaysian households and they also hope get achievement on food services industry. In 1999, they were successfully commercialized under the ‘OLDTOWN’ brand name for the retail sector. As of 31 October 2009, ‘OLDTOWN’ 3-in-1 instant coffee mix was sold in approximately 1,348 retail outlets nationwide in Malaysia, 550 in Singapore and 2,100 in Hong Kong.
