Education is an important aspect in a person’s life and can shape how their futures will turn out. For many years there has been controversy between which education is better, a private school education or a public school education. There are many factors that come into play when deciding which education is better. Many people believe that the main difference between a private school education and a public school education is that you pay for a private school education. A private school education is better than a public school education in many ways, not just because you pay money. For example a private school education has better teachers, is much stricter and has a higher academic requirement. The main reason why a public school education isn’t better is because of location. Some students live in bad areas and therefore have to go to bad public schools. Education is an important part of a child’s life growing up and that’s why people should choose a private school education.

There are many reasons why a private school education is superior to a public school education. One reason why a private school education is viewed as better than a public school education is because of the tuition that is required to pay. This isn’t true because there are many other reasons why a private school education is better. One reason why it is better is because of its academics. Private schools usually have more rigorous academic requirements. Sometimes it is described as a “boot camp for leaders” (Lorene Cary). Private schools give the students more specialized programs. For example, private schools may have art or math in all classes, or take a field trip. Private schools can create their own program and academic requirements, even though many private schools choose to use standardized tests.
