Step 1: What is the central message of each episode? |

Matt 24:36–44 | Matt 24:45–51 | Matt 25:1–13 |

The message for this episode the Son of Man can come back and if we are not careful we will not be taken home. We have to live each day like it’s the last, so we havut sin on these days to we aren’t left behind when he comes back for us. | The message for this episode is we cannot be impatient and act like Jesus isn’t coming back. The day ght him off could be the day he comes back and that maybe the day our master condemns us to hell for being hypocrites. | The message is the same as the others as in we need to do what the living word tells us. What the holy spirit tells us but also be wise in what we do. Because if we do not we may miss our time and be rejected from heaven. |

Step 2: What is the gospel writer trying to communicate to his readers by the way he connects the three stories together? |

Matt 24:36–44; Matt 24:45–51; Matt 25:1–13 |

What Matthew is writing is different accounts of ways people missed out on things. The virgins not getting married and the servant thinking the master wasn’t coming back. So these people missed out on the ultimate prize that was there is they would have been wise and listened to what the holy spirit said. If they would have done what was asked of them they would have not missed out on the kingdom. So he is saying that we have to watch what we do because we never know the time and if we aren’t on top of it we could miss out on it. |

Step 3-Application: How do we apply the message of these gospel stories to our lives today? |

We start by reading and listening to what the holy spirit is telling us through the living word. Every day we need to spend time in prayer and never grow tired of waiting because it could happen at any time. Jesus could come back and we don’t want to be excluded. We also need to do good deeds because without good deeds we aren’t showing Christs love. |
