I. The Company

A. Description of the Company

Raw will be launched in the month of March 2015. This date is predicted because we have enough time to complete the project and at the same time, we all know that the swimsuit season is coming up, it is considered a high season, hence there will be a lot of memberships.

Organizational structure:

Mustapha Hajjeh (Finance)

Jad Jaffan (Accounting)

Yara Maria Kanaan (Human Resources)

Rasha Karam (Marketing)

Each one of the members of the Board will be holding 16.6% of the company’s shares

B. Location of the Company

We chose Ashrafieh as the location, because it is one of the most popular and hip places in the country. Furthermore, when asked about the preferred location in the surveys, most individuals answered Ashrafieh.

There are many universities that are close to this area; naming a few, AUB, LAU, USJ, AUST etc… In addition, most of our target market is concentrated around the area.

We are the only company in Lebanon that is named “Raw”. We own a patent on the working hours; we are the only gym that is allowed to open after 10 pm.

The only problem we faced is choosing the location, because it is one of the most important elements for the success of the company. Since we chose Ashrafieh, and knowing how expensive it is o buy and/or rent a place posed a glitch

The problems we are expecting to face are the following:

1- The fact that it is a completely new idea, the awareness, acceptance and accessibility will be challenging at first. With the right market strategy with an emphasis on promotion, and knowing how the target market is open to new ideas, we will be better able to reach our customers.
