Culture was passed on and preserved for generation.

Explanation:

Culture is the shared products of human learning, the set of learned behaviors, beliefs, attitudes, values and ideals that are characteristics of a particular society or population. Every single aspect that lies in the society is part of its culture.

Two good characteristics of culture are its being adaptive and transferable. It is adaptive and transferable in the sense that anyone who got exposed to a particular culture can adapt it and can live with it. These things explain how culture was passed from generation to generation.

In addition, this cultural preservation and transmission were made possible by one of culture’s most important component, that’s language for it is defined as the vehicle of cultural transmission and change. Through language, people can easily transmit their culture and express their beliefs and norms to other people.

On the other hand, if you’re going to think of it, one can also control the transmission of culture. He can choose the norm or practice that he would like to pass on to other people or to his relatives.

There are so many reasons why people desire to preserve their culture. One of which traces back in the history of education during the Preservation of Social stability. During these times, people are very religious and social. They even attend moral trainings and they are very good in language and literature. For these good reasons, they would like to preserve their traditional ideals to the succeeding generation in order to maintain and perpetuate the long established social order.

Viewed in this perspective and in connection with the curriculum that we have in the present, I could say that up to this modern age, culture is still valued.
