Executive summary

Aradia Fitness was founded in 2003 by Tracy Gray and Christine Boyer in British Columbia. Aradia Fitness' tagline - “meet your sexy side” says it all. It aims to enhance the fitness regime in a way in which women not only achieve their fitness goals of strength and flexibility but also get in touch with their sensual side through pole dancing. Andrea Tierney opened a franchise Aradia Fitness London. AFL offers progressive pole dancing classes that includes a total of ten levels that are each completed over 6 weeks. She caters to her various students’ needs in a variety of ways including weight loss, increased fitness level, create sensuality in fitness and a feeling of community. She also uses her fitness studio for other offerings such as bachelorette parties, dance sessions and private pole dancing sessions.

Tierney’s pole dancing classes consist of a total of ten levels, however, as the pole dancing levels progress, Tierney is worried that her students lack the fitness strength to continue after level three. To fix this issue, AFL is now offering TRX sessions to cater to these students and help them build their upper body and core strength. In this report, we would be analyzing the current TRX classes that AFL offers and introduce a revamped pole dancing TRX program that we believe would benefit to their success. The TRX sessions would be exclusively designed to support pole dancing sessions as a complementary program. Andrea’s target market is existing AFL pole dancing students who are dropping out due to their inability to progress to higher levels.
