INTRODUCTION

Background of the Company

Imus, Cavite is considered as one of the premier towns in the CALABARZON area. It is a Class A municipality where a large number of the entire population are migrants from Metro Manila. Residents of Imus enjoy the well organized Poblacion, the fresh air and the provincial life that one experiences here. Despite the provincial appeal, Imus is just 20 kilometers away from Metro Manila. 

Even with a great number of Healthcare Professionals residing in Imus, it is difficult to imagine why there is no modern tertiary hospital existing in the town. More so, a hospital owned and operated by the doctors and residents of Imus. In the year 1998, a group of thirty young doctors from Imus and its neighboring towns heeded to this challenge. They bonded and shared a common vision of having a modern tertiary hospital to be built right in the heart of this premier municipality. The group was called United Imus Doctors, Inc. to emphasize their place of origin. These doctors belong to different medical specialties in their own respective fields. Although none has the experience on hospital construction, the group faced the odds with a mission of building a modern tertiary hospital for the residents of Imus as their common motivation. To add to their resources, other private investors also from the community were tapped.
