CURRENT ISSUES RELATED TO THE ADVERTISEMENT

Intel allocates $300 million for workplace diversity.

Over the last year, big and establish technology company has face many criticism by the civil right leader about the diversity in their work force where is dominated by white and Asian men. The person behind civil right leader is an influence figures which promotes and implement a political freedom in which to protect the people right as an individuals and groups from political oppression and discrimination by government and private sector.

To combat this matter from worsening, Intel has made a step where the company has stated that they would consider giving the opportunity to the women and underrepresent minority group to show their skill and talent within five years. If these plans succeed, Intel would increase the population of these groups at about fourteen percent within the period of time. Moreover, to show Intel determination, they have established a $300 million fund to be used for the next three years to improve the diversity of Intel workforce. This is fundamental principles as to welcoming and attract more women and minorities such as black, Hispanic and other group into the technology field and funding for the engineering scholarship and support Historically Black College and University (HBCUs).

The future of advertisement.

Another issues related to advertisement is about how current technology such as personal video recorder (PVRs) and video on demand (VOD) could threatening the television advertising world as people can easily avoid the advertisements by speeding the time of the recorded program at their fingertip. This is a major concern as majority of people would avoid from watching any advertisement which is time consuming and interrupt their current program especially if the program is very interesting such as “Jurassic World”, “The Fantastic Four”, and etc. This will become a bigger concern as the advertiser had to deal with the...
