Chapter 1

Introduction

The advent of computer-based DTI Record Management System especially on the emphasis upon process, system and code has enabled business models and processes to perceive that they, too, function as forms or subsets of Information Technology (IT).

Today, everyone has begun to write computer programs to aid their business processes, even small medium businesses.

In this modern day of technology, there are many things that we can do. Technology is the most in demand in our generation; currently, researchers will conduct a study to develop more, about the world of technology.

Now, when it comes to Gathering Data’s and Information of one’s company, it is better to be securing at all times to have a secured Database is one of the most influential services available in modern times, with regarding to the harnessing the data’s from Excel Microsoft Word into a computer-based system.

The DTI – Laguna Provincial Office had two divisions; First, Consumer Protection Division and the OIC is Mr. Cesar German Gerpacio Second, Business Development Division the Division Chief is Ms. Marcelina B. Alcantara. The researchers choose the Business Development Division to be their client.

The Business Development Division has an online process for the other transactions, but according to Division Chief they’re just using a manual form for the process of their records and for the Database they are using MS Excel.
