Dear Customer:

Recently we have made changes in our retail stores hours of operation. We believe we have made the best decision to combat the rising price of gas and save money for our customers, our employees, and our stores.

All stores will be closed on Sundays. Monday through Saturday, stores will open a hour later and close a hour earlier. All employees will consolidate their work week in an effort to avoid losing any working hours. This will cut down on the amount of gas needed for travel.

We believe these changes will help everyone because at this time no stores will be closing nor will there be any new stores opening at this time.

Sincerely,

Public Relations Manager

Subject: Changes in Hours of Operation

The stores will be changing their hours of operation in an effort to save money by combating the constant rise in gas prices. To alleviate closing stores the company has decided the stores will now be closed on Sundays. On Monday through Saturday, the stores will open a hour later and close a hour earlier. Full-time employees, including managers, will have four days, 10-hour work weeks and part-time employees will consolidate their hours into one, two, or three-day work weeks, depending on how many hours a week they work. Jobs are being preserved because no stores are closing, but no new stores will open at this time either.

Thanks!
