Eastern Religious Philosophers Quotations

These philosophies all contribute to the philosophy of what may be a higher focus on implementing positive behavior, ethics, virtues, and uncertainties that we face today. These studies incorporate some of the philosophies that we live by that defines the behaviors of people that were watched by these philosophers.

Siddhartha Guatama

"Suffering is in part the result of the transience and hence uncertainty of the world: indeed, all human problems are rooted in the fact of change and the uncertainty, anxiety, and fear that it causes"(Moore-Bruder, 2008). This quotation is accurate because this world has so many uncertainties that an individual may end up in a situation to where they are faced with suffering or living in poverty. Siddhartha Gautama was disturbed about the poverty and suffering he sighted in the city of Kapilavastu, Siddhartha was so involved in trying to find a solution to eliminate suffering that by the age of 29, he left in the night to enter into the forest. Siddhartha abandoned the luxurious life with his wife and son to transform his self by shaving his head to blend in with the surroundings of poverty and suffering.

The economic pitfalls that has crippled our economy today is a prime example of what can happen when people are put in a position of uncertainty, people are faced with being unemployed to where they are unable to pay their bills their bills or keep a roof over their heads, resulting in them having to be homeless and suffering by living in poverty. The historical significance expressed the understanding of the Four Noble truths of the enlightenment and awakening at the river.
