Introduction

In today’s society, Americans has experienced many new threats since 9-11. We have suffered emotionally, physically, mentally, and financially. However, in our networking environment, attacks are becoming more massive in cyberspace. One concern organization need to focus on is vulnerabilities in wireless usage and connections. Wireless has become a number one market used for Internet, cell phone, computers, tablet PC, Bluetooth headsets, scanners, digital cameras or Smartphones; our society is fascinated with instantaneous access right at their fingertips with just a touch or click to launch, activate, and research using wireless technology. What is Wireless? Wireless LANs (WLAN) or wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) functionality is linking devices via a wireless distribution method and providing connections through access points, which allow users to be connected to the network within a local coverage area even when they are on the move (UMUC, 2011). Wireless LANs give persons more mobility and flexibility by allowing workers to stay connected to the Internet and to the network as they continue to be on the move throughout the day. Wireless availability is high in demand because of the every changing technology that most organizations need and want flexibility, mobility, and reliability in offices, airports, and within the home environment.
