During this subject I intent learn how to manage people, but in a very innovative and perhaps creative way. Gain knowledge about training process, recruiting staff and reward politics. Since Personnel Management is a very difficult subject and Human Resource specifically, I find it very interesting to lean the new ways how to develop relationships between managers and their subordinates and not only, are the relationships between colleagues as well vital to develop and keep them in a very positive and a social way.

The 2 chapter begins with an interesting example of GE Motors and their situation during economic recession in 2009. The whole chapter describes the changes can be and sometimes must be made to help the company to survive recessions or other economical, financial difficulties. The HR management allows finding the most efficient way how to organize personnel in order to gain more profit and faster work process as well quality of a work done. Employees is no doubt a great value of any company small or big and certain attention must be paid to make their life more comfortable and positive, otherwise people one by one would their job to find a better place, where they more appreciated and respected as personality.

Strategic approach in HR management allows finding the most efficient ways to organize their employees. It is important to understand the HR is the most important asset of the company as well as largest controllable cost within the firm’s business model. Such strategy asks for detailed planning and accurate implementation. Motivation plays a string role, while making any implementation as well as on daily basis. People who are responsible for HR must be professionals, have great experience and professionals, only in this case the whole HR process in the company can be a success.
