MEDIA RELATIONS

What is the difference between PUBLIC RELATIONS and MEDIA RELATIONS? Getting confuse with PUBLIC RELATIONS and MEDIA RELATIONS? People tend to confuse with this two words. Many people think that the two words are synonymous. But they are different in meaning. More often, people think that public relations professionals who are skilled at getting coverage for our organizations in print, on the radio or on TV. It is the traditional function of public relations and most effective way for companies and organizations to put their messages to the public. But now, it is no longer true. That is why people should be more aware about the importance of the difference of Public Relations and Media Relations. Public relations are the art and science of connecting and communicating with all of the various publics with whom an organization may have a relationship.
