Sony and Fed Ex

US

So far I have filed complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General of Iowa as of 10-10. This all started back in August around the 23rd or so. I was to receive my Playstation 3 that was serviced by Sony back via Fed Ex. I had this Playstation for almost 2 years and had to pay $100 to Sony for the service. Everything went well until right at the end when my Playstation was to be delivered to me. I had been tracking the progress back to me and at 10 AM I checked again and it said it had been delivered. So I went to see if it somehow got dropped off without me noticing even though I was home and I knew a signature was required. It was nowhere to be found so I immediately called Fed Ex and they put a trace on it. The following day I notified Sony and they said they would start things on their end and it would take 16 to 17 days. It is now a month and a half later and I still have not received a replacement! I have been constantly going back and forth between Sony and Fed Ex and am never able to talk to anyone that can resolve this matter in a timely fashion! Something to mention is that there has been conflicting information flowing back and forth between myself, Sony and Fed Ex. For example, I called Sony on September 22 which would have been the 17 days according to them and am told the whole thing was cancelled on September 12th due to Fed Ex telling them that I had called and said I receive the package!! Obviously I had not. Also, I had called on September 16th for an update and was told the whole thing was still under investigation. Things like this have been going on this whole time! Now a claim has been submitted to Fed Ex by Sony. This was done on September 27th. I was told a claim takes 5 to 7 business days so I call on 10-6 to Sony. They still don't know anything. I call Fed Ex and finally get the name of the person handling the claim. Her name is Kimberly McNight. I talk to her and she tells me they go in the order they receive them...
