INRODUCTION

What is Desktop?

A desktop computer can be defined as a Personal Computer (PC) in a form intended for regular use at a single location. Being a type of a microcomputer, it is designed to be small enough to fit on top of or alongside a desk, but yet are too big to carry around. A desktop computer basically comes in several units that are connected together during installation or upon purchase, which is;

(1) The processor, which can be in a microtower or minitower designed to fit under the desk or in a unit that goes on top of the desk.

(2) The display monitor.

(3) Input devices - usually in a form of a keyboard and a mouse.

Today, the function and the development of a desktop is getting better by days as almost all desktop are fully equipped with a built-in modem, a CD-ROM drive, a multi-gigabyte magnetic storage drive, and sometimes a diskette drive and many other function that could benefits the users.

What is a Laptop?

A laptop which is also called a notebook is a Personal Computer for mobile use and is a battery- or AC-powered personal computer generally smaller than a briefcase that can easily be transported and conveniently used in temporary spaces such as on airplanes, in libraries, temporary offices, and at meetings. It is usually weighs less than 5 pounds and is 3 inches or less in thickness and integrates most of the typical components of a desktop computer, including a display, a keyboard, a pointing device and speakers into a single unit.

SUGGESTION

The products that I would like to suggest are Acer’s computers. The reasons why I choose to recommend this brand is because I have been using the same brand for years and it is still working perfectly for me. These are two latest model from Acer that I think would suit him:
