Re: “Angels of Hope” Campaign

Sunshine House of Eastern Acme County, Inc. is a free community based service agency devoted to fighting the AIDS epidemic while lessening its effects in the surrounding areas of Eastern Acme County. Here at the Sunshine House we offer medical, supportive and preventive services in a compassionate and caring environment. Our main objective is to build a partnership with other agencies while promoting and maintaining healthy communities (Aid Atlanta, 2010).

For those individuals in the final stages of AIDS living in Acme County and receiving their care at home has become intolerable for their caregivers. Their caregiver’s are being forced into making a decision where to look for the best care for their love one that is dying of AIDS. Some caregiver’s are choosing to send their love one receive care in an overly priced hospital or choosing to put them in a convalescent home as an alternative to putting them in a residential or short term inpatient facility that will provide them with the best care possible such as round the clock care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These services can seem to be a pit pricey and those dying from a terminal illness feel that no one even cares (How to Write a Nonprofit Case Statement, n.d.).

The Sunshine House is preparing to construct a 45,000 square foot, one story housing facility that will have the following: private living quarters that comes with a den, sofa sleeper, and bath with a shower, private decks for each apartment, two family meetings rooms with exterior porches, two gathering rooms with fireplace,...
