I am private Daniel Davila and I’m writing about physical security of arms, ammunition and explosives. The AR 190-11 real speaks on how to secure your fire arms, ammunition and explosives to ensure that soldiers are to keep these items lock up with the army regulations. This regulation applies to the Active Army, United States Army Reserve, Army National Guard of the United States, and contractors, Army government buildings. This regulation is mandatory for use by all major Army commands and for Army contractors into those Department of Defense contracts. Although the standards and criteria in this regulation will provide adequate protection against loss or theft of any physical security of arms, ammunition and explosives. Because there is such high rate of missing or stolen arms, ammunition and explosives there was this regulation that came in to place this regulation is AR 190-11. The up keep of this regulation is held strongly across the Army and any contractors that follow under the Department of Defense. I feel that the physical security of arms, ammunition and explosives must all ways be a great part of our everyday self-training with our daily task to be a great army. There many different ways to always ensure the security of our arms, ammunition and explosives as there are ways to secure our own personal item but the different part of securing them is to make sure they are secured with in all of the regulations. The main thing is that physical security can only be done by only a small amount of ways like constantly by our sides or by a lock cage with some type of security device like camera or alarm. If there was any that any arms, ammunition or explosive went missing it would close the down the fob or camp and there shouldn’t be any real reason why any of these many thing were to go missing or stolen due to the fact of the good old AR 190-11 that is there to ensure that soldiers will not make a mistake of losing their weapon, ammunition or explosives.
