1. Introduction

This case study has shown how importance of Leadership roles in any organization. Leadership needs very high quality of interpersonal skills, a lot of charismatic and high of passion. As a consultant needs to revise their direction setting process for the future of Airstar in order to succeed and move forward.

2. Background of the Case

For more than 20 years experience in the business of manufactures, repairs and overhauls pistons and jet engine, Airstar was leading by new president after the death of their founder’s 5 years ago. With new leadership in the organization, Airstar has not shown a good performance in their business. They seem having a problem in the market and also in maintaining their quality as a company known with superior quality, safety and customer service.

Senior managers are not sure what direction to take. Tasks are assigned superficially in an informal manner. Communications are atrocious and responsibilities overlap.
