Life as an Army Bmet

The life of a bmet isnt as glamous as I would hope. Or what anyone would hope, here in the army. The school is tough, the nights are long, the NCO's are even tougher, the food sucks, you get no sleep, people talk shit, and pt is brutal thanks to our first sergeant. I sometimes think I definitely got into the wrong MOS and I want to be infantry or a tanker or a scout or a paralegal or psyh ops or even just logistics, because thats what I did in the civilian sector. But the rewards you get from getting through this school are unreal. They really are. 68A is one of the most saught after MOS in the United States military, thats why Im trying to get the news about this MOS out there for people to find out about it and try to come be apart of our brotherhood we have here. Delta Company of the 264th Med Bn, is nothing short of the biggest roller coaster known to man. One day the command is happy with the company and we get have really short formations or maybe even not even making us come to formation. Next day, they're pissed off at us for something one shitbag soldier decides to do. Let me say if you are in TRADOC and you are not of proper phase and age, do NOT drink. That is what gets everyone in AIT. They think can get away with it, and the sergents catch them, and next thing they know they're looking at an Article 15 thats been passed down from brigade. The actions they take can range anywhere from loss of rank to discharge. Technically, you cant get dishonorably discharged from here unless your actions were completely horrible.

Whatever happened to the real army? We dont even experience was the Army was like when we were in basic training. When everyone was extremely disiplined and we were all killing machines.
