Descriptive research

Descriptive research is one of the research methods which use to summaries environment’s aspect while the hypotheses are tentative and also speculative in nature. This research method is designed to provides answer to the question of who, what, where, when and how. This method will not bring any causes or effect to the relationship between variables, and it has the utility in prediction also.

In common, people always use the descriptive research method to collect the information such as demographics, psychographic and attitudes as well, the common method using by people are such as questionnaire, it can be either manage to used in face by face or indirectly, for example: e-mail, telephone fax or internet, these are all the data collection method of the descriptive research method.

Field works

Descriptive research is the research method in the research, and questionnaire is the choice in this research to collect the information from 20 respondents. There are 20 sets of questionnaire provides to the marketer, and there are 4 marketers in the group, each of them will be handle 5 set of questionnaire. The marketer will then provide the 5 sets of questionnaire to their surrounding friend or family to complete the question.

In the questionnaire, there are several types of question, such as the respondent profile and the incorporated information needed, and sampling methods. There is also a pre-testing questionnaire provided to the marketer in order to make the marketer to know what kind of question should be asked.

H0: There is no relationship between the product of origin place and respondents birthplace.

H1: There is an relationship between the product of origin place and respondents birthplace.
