The first box television was made January 26, 1926. John Logie Baird of Scotland was the first to come up with the idea of a "television transmitter" and created the first television using the inventions of others. The first images transmitted electrically were sent by early mechanical fax machines, including the pantelegraph, developed in the late nineteenth century. The concept of electrically powered transmission of television images in motion was first sketched in 1878 as the telephonoscope, shortly after the invention of the telephone. As for the color in the first television, there were not many at all. Actually, there were only two colors. The color on the television screen was black and white. About 25 years later, color television made its debut in the US in the early 1950s. It was a commercial failure and was withdrawn after only a few months. By 1955 a national standard for color television was agreed and RCA launched color services. The new color broadcasts and televisions were a rapid success and by 1956, sales of color televisions had grown dramatically. Back then there were not many channels that you could watch on the television. The way they got a signal back then was with analog. Box televisions were around for many years but it was not too long before the technology of television started to evolve.

After the box television was around for years, no one thought that the technology would change or get better in televisions. Then came High Definition Televisions (HDTV). HDTV technology was introduced in the early 1900’s. High Definition Television (HDTV) is video resolution substantially higher than that of traditional television systems (standard definition television).
