To succeed in today’s business environment, managers need to use and interpret quantitative data and use it to make decision.   To run a profitable business requires the managers to understand the quantitative tools and concepts and apply it to their business strategies. “Quantitative reasoning is the application of mathematical concepts and skills to solve real world problems.   In order to perform effectively as professionals and citizens, students must become competent in reading and using quantitative data, in understanding quantitative evidence and in applying basic quantitative skills to the solution of real-life problems.” Therefore, the quantitative reasoning for business class will help me to develop my analytical skills and prepare me to become an effective decision maker. Quantitative Reasoning for Business will prepare me for the course in economic, finance; accounting and research by apply the elements of quantitative reasoning. I will be able to use data to quantify and make decision based on the given information.   I will utilize various reasoning skills to solve problems based on the empirical information and to make strategies based on the data.   These courses will prepare me to be a better decision maker by applying the quantitative tools to each of the business decision.   In turn, it will help me to become an effective manager.

      In conclusion, the quantitative reasoning course will train me to use the empirical data to and apply it to real life situation whenever possible.   I would be able to scrutinize graphical data and draw conclusion based on the quantitative information. Upon completion the QRB course,   I will be able to use my critical thinking skills to analyze different kind quantitative data and be able to translate it to everyday language in oral, in writing, and.
