Subject: Request for Proposal for VoIP System

Statement

ABC Company wishes to enter into a contract for the total removal of the current POTS/PSTN, plain old telephone service/public switched telephone network, and the full installation of a VoIP phone system to cover 4 buildings, all on same property, with 150 user workstations in each building.

Selected vender will:

1. Remove existing phone system

2. Install, configure, trouble shoot, and test VoIP system upon completion

3. Purchase all equipment and components necessary to complete the project within the scope of the project

4. Vender will insure VoIP system provides:

a. Real-time communications

b. Protocol standards for future equipment needs

c. Full redundancy

d. Management system integration for monitoring through existing network system

Selection of Venders

ABC Company’s selection process will be based on the following factors for the appropriate proposal that provides the best overall solutions; not the lowest bidder:

1. Ability to fully meet the requirements of the project per ABC Company’s standards

2. Vender’s qualifications

3. Vendors installations list of comparable systems for reference

4. Costs associated with proposed system

5. Warranty, maintenance, support, and training offered

6. Completeness of RFP

ABC Company also reserves the right to accept, or reject, any proposal for any reason with or without notice. ("Request for proposal," 2006)
