Assignment week 9

ETH/125

Joseph Bellmore

I was conflicted when I saw the topic was to be about me and my community because I have only lived in this community for about four years. After some thought though I decided to write about Dalton, Georgia. This is a place where the Hispanics are the majority and Whites are second to them. Even with them holding the numbers for first they are being run out of town. For this I am still conflicted as to whether or not I agree with a law recently passed in Georgia.

I’ll start with the look of the Hispanic. They are very much like a Caucasian but still have the weathered skin look, a little dark on some and real light on others. Much like Caucasians they have different types of people and those different types look distinguishable. For example, a farmer may darker skin as compared to someone who sits at a desk all day.
