Abstract

This paper will present a draft of Strategic Plan for Tender Loving Sick Child Care. This strategic plan is the foundation that drives corporate strategy and defines the core business strategies along with how the service will be marketed, financed and the operations of the service. The Strategic Plan for Tender Loving Sick Child Care will provide information about the service they are providing for children that are sick and the benefit for parents and employer to use this service.

Introduction

The strategic plan is a plan for long term survival and growth of a product or service. In order to achieve this plan a company must outline its mission, set objectives and goals; develop business portfolio and marketing plan. With this in place company can achieve revenue and profit maximization along with creating and expanding the market for the company’s product or service (Winer, 2007).

Objectives & Mission Statement

Give parents peace of mind 99% of the time and another alternative for care when child is sick. Provide an environment that is safe, clean, and comfortable for 25 children recovering from illness or injury through use of 30 highly qualified staff of professionals. Provide the employer with a more focused employee to accomplish the mission needed for their place of employment.

Tender Loving Sick Child Care would be staffed with qualified childcare workers, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nurse practitioner that specialize in pediatrics. They would cater to the specialized needs of each child placed in the facility.

There will be a registered nurse or nurse practitioner on at all times and additional staffing for child care ratio of 1:4. There will standard orders for fever, diarrhea/vomiting management developed through a medical advisor board.
