A Essay on My Hero

One hero in my life is Joe; he is 24 years old and works at the national bank. Joe as some people refer to him, Joe and I have grown close in the past year, and I have much respect for him. This is why I made him my hero.

Well when you first see Joe you’ll notice right away that he looks like a professional body builder. He has a broad chest and huge biceps giving him the superhero look, besides the fact that he’s only 5’8. After getting to know him or just talking for a little you will notice that he is very smart, and educated. Joe is a very Godly man he believes strongly in the power of God. We have had long talks about the subject and it has really improved my life. Joe is very good at getting things done, one of our experiences we had together was the building of a huge porch/deck. Joe and I worked for several weeks on this and it turned out with nothing lower then perfection. One reason I look up to Joe is because he is somewhat of a perfectionist, not on all things but when it counts he is. My hero has also taught me many basic skills, such as the other day I broke a water pipe and he was there right away to teach me how to fix it. Ever since we’ve started associating I feel like he’s been looking after me kind of like my own hero.

Over all Joe is a great guy and I could keep going all day but I’ll stop here. Joe has helped me so much since my dad left and I look up to him more than he could know, I wouldn’t be the man I am today without him.
