Technology has come a long way over the last couple of years. It is a significant part of our everyday lives and people are always depending on it now much more. It has opened up a whole new world of opportunities and possibilities. Technology has benefited our society in many different ways. The way we communicate, job opportunities and advancements wit health care are all things that show how life is in fact easier due to the development of technology.

The first reason why life is easier due to technology is because of how we as human beings communicate with each other. Technological developments have changed the way we connect to others on a large scale. For example years ago people would actually have to talk face to face in order to deliver a message or stay in touch. They may have had the option to pick up the telephone from time to time but now things are a lot different. Technology allows us to stay connected to everyone we know, and even the ones we don’t. We can now communicate with each other using many different tools such as, face book, Skype, twitter, text messaging, emailing, etc. Technology has broken down the “long distance barrier” in many relationships. Family members who live in different countries are able to keep in touch using face book, they are able to see what everyone is doing, view photos and even carry on conversations. Skype gives people the opportunity to talk through video calls so you can see the other person and talk to them over the computer. 1 in every 8 couples are said to have met online. Online dating has become more popular. People can meet and talk online for hours and hour’s day in and day out without having to physically be standing next to eachother. Some people may argue that is wrong because when people eventually have to face each other in person things will be awkward.
