INTRODUCTION

With the mission “helping people and businesses throughout the world realize their full potential”, Microsoft run its business very well. It was known as one of the fastest growing and most lucrative tech markets. However, under the leadership of Steve Ballmer – current CEO of Microsoft, the performance of the company has fallen badly for over 10 years. It seems like Ballmer had a wrong management in running his business.

In contrast, to Apple Incorporation, the company which was founded in 1976 by Steven P. Jobs and Steve Wozniak, has become the world’s largest technology company today, taking the lead from its longtime rival Microsoft in 2010. A company which was near the brink of death, had only $150 million in the bank, and traded its stock at a few bucks per share only 10 years ago, now becomes a dominant.
