I would like to see the company build a building to host/stage all of the temporary workers that are on site for outages. I will show how the company can save money in the long term and the cost of what it takes to set up trailers compared to what it would cost to build a building.

The cost of bringing trailers on site is a large amount of money. We pay for the trailers to be hauled to our site and to be hauled away. We pay for them to be set up and to be torn down when we are done. Some of the additional cost is we rent furniture to be put in each of the trailers. Additional costs of setting up the trailers include the run of wire to power the trailers, computers and phone lines that are needed in each trailer. That does not include the cost of renting fridges and water coolers and water for people to drink. An additional cost is when we have to bring in extra help to set up the trailers and to help tear the trailers down.

By building a building, we would not have to bring extra help in and at the end we could concentrate on the site in cleaning up certain areas instead of tearing down trailers. This building could be built where the new building is supposed to go. The building that is front of the proposed building could be torn down and the new building could be extended and then make room for all the contractors. We could design a place for Hy-Vee to set up to serve lunches for every one on site.

What it cost to bring trailers on site. You could put that money towards the new building and it would pay for itself in two or four years. It would be cheaper than bringing the trailers
