Final Strategic Plan

The three words vision, mission, and values are the keys to the success of any business, without these three essential components in a business: the business will fail because of a lack of purpose and direction. A vision statement is a statement of the company’s intent to achieve its future goal through resources and actions, whereas a mission statement explains the type of business (Pearce & Robinson, 2005). Values represent business standards within the organization. The following composition will provide insight to the importance of a vision, mission, and values used to determine the strategic direction of a 24-hour gym and fitness center business.

The purpose of the 24-hour gym and fitness center is to provide fitness at a time that fits the customer’s schedule, by providing state of the art equipment, a clean atmosphere, and professional assistance for all fitness levels. The gym and fitness center will focus on a clean, customer safe environment, with personalized training availability and knowledgeable professional staff during normal business hours. In addition, the 24-hour gym and fitness center will focus on making the cost of a gym membership affordable with a variety of membership options.

The vision of the company is to provide a superior equipment and service compared to other gyms within the market, by providing better hours, better, equipments, and better staff, all at an affordable membership. In addition to providing a better gym experience in the current market, the vision includes expansion to other markets in need of a better gym and fitness center experience. The company can only achieve our vision by delivering on our promises of providing excellent customer service, clean, state of the art equipment, no pressure, and a comfortable workout environment that is affordable.
