“I’m On The Right Track”

Moving from one institution to another is a big deal for a student, who has a continuous dream of being successful, like me.

April of this year, I became a risk-taker in choosing an institution which I believe that will be conducive in bringing out the best in me throughout my college years. During that time, options were everywhere but what blogged my mind were the things I must take into consideration first before making a decision that will definitely influence and change my future.

Finally, I made a choice and I am now a certified Mapúan student. Being a student of this institution comes a big responsibility because of what are expected of me as a student of this institution. One of which is to protect the dignity and pride of this institution by not using its name as a sign of superiority against others. Lastly, to keep the Mapúan pride as part of my system by internalizing its vision of providing instructions that are current in content and state-of-the-art in delivery; by engaging in cutting-edge, high-impact research and by aggressively taking on present day global concerns.

Entering this institution is actually a new chapter to venture as a student. I personally chose Mapúa Institute of Technology (MIT) for I know that is the best training ground of my future employment. I have trusted my future in this institution for it is constantly produces individuals who are rational enough to be globally competitive. Another reason was because of social influences. I have heard of many good things about this institution that made me decide to be part of it. Many of these things are facts about its quality of education it offers and of course competency. In addition, its popularity, its historical background and its excellence over the years also added to my perception about this institution.
