Vienna, Austria

The place I chose to live in the future is Vienna, Austria. The reason I chose this place is that it is one of the wealthiest countries and everyone wants to live in a place whose economy is growing. I also think it is a beautiful city with character in the buildings and architecture. There are so many different monumental buildings that I would like to visit one day. One building on my list is the Millenium Tower because it is the highest building in Vienna. The buildings are styled after romanesque and baroque. Another aspect that drew in my attention was that Vienna is located in the northeastern parts of Austria, which means that it is near eastern parts of the Alps. I am a snowboarder and I snowboard all the time in the winter at resorts. I would love to snowboard on real mountains especially The Alps. I have heard from friends who studied abroad there that the weather is similar to the states but since it is near the mountains, the summers are not as warm. Soccer is the big sport in Austria and I am a big fan of all sports, soccer included. I have played soccer in high school so I am familiar with the rules and I am entertained when I watch it.

When I was thinking of a place to live, many criterions ran in my head. I want a place that has a great economy so I know I can always keep a steady job and know I am always well off. I also need an environment that is beautiful and one that seems clean. I need to live in a place that has many different sites to see. Vienna has many museums and monuments. The Alps are my main reason I chose this city. Skiing is a big sport and the mountains are a beautiful sight to see. I want a house in the mountains and open up my own ski resort. This business will always be up and running because people love to ski and travel. Because the Alps are a famous mountain range, this attracts many tourists from all over the world.
