Business Development
• Meet with my manager and agree on meetings schedule, key players,
situational diagnosis, and mandate.
• Meet with key internal partners,
Officers, and other Team Managers to assess unit’s current credibility and

- Establish a game plan to exceed goals and maximize client loyalty and share of wallet

• Review proficiencies, routines and identify areas for growth
• Develop coaching plans and activities.

• Meet with all members of the team, identify early patterns, trends,
priorities, and get early sense of team ability:
- Discuss individual players’ successes and challenges
- Discuss their expectations of me and their personal goals
• Maximize floor visibility to build relationships with all partners and team
• Complete several client interviews and trailer calls
Business Development
• Meet with manager and establish performance deliverables, work communication styles and agree on situational diagnosis
• Continue to build on internal partnering relationships through trust, mutual
benefit and disciplined activities
• Do SWOT analysis; document gaps or any misalignment between goals
• Develop plan for process improvements, staff changes (if any)
• Create strategy for my unit of responsibility
• Maximize usage of huddles and meetings to include key partners
• Pinpoint individual coaching needs using coaching tools, methods and
models, side by side connects and call analysis
• Prepare for staff meetings in advance and refresh/prepare for next day after each day.
