Introduction

The American University in Dubai (AUD) is the most recognized university situated in Dubai, UAE. AUD is not just a regular campus where students come to attend classes, but it is a place where students and faculty live, socialize and unwind. AUD provides a variety of facilities to meet these expectations for all members of the university, and the facilities provided includes services of; restaurants, cafes, vending machines and a convenience store (Unimart), which offers a wide range of beverages and food alternatives.

Before beginning this project, we researched the beverages that were being offered in the university. We noticed that there was a gap in the market in terms of fresh, healthy beverage choices as we discovered that AUD does not offer any fruit juices except for regular packaged beverages that are provided in all convenience stores. The cafes on campus provide either caffeine or carbonated drinks, which are not necessarily regarded as healthy choices, especially to young adults.
