Now a days technology is becoming more and more advance. I remember back in the days, cell phones were used just to communicate to anyone and anywhere. But now they are beyond of just being a communication device. They are now like a drug necessity in our everyday lives. Even young children have their own cell phones. Some people describe their cell phone as their "life" or their "best friend". I own a samsung galaxy S4 and its very useful for communication, school, and entertainment.

I use my phone mainly for communication. Depending on the type of plan you sign up for, I can use it for sending text messages and for calling anyone from anywhere around the world. My phone also allows me to call for help during emergencies. In the case that there is no service, my phone can still make a call to 911. In the past, before technology got advance, people had to use their landline phones, or if your not home you had to run to the nearest telephone booth to make a phone call. I can also use my phone for sending e-mails and IM's through yahoo and msn messenger. I can even access my social networks through my phone, Facebook and Twitter.

Most schools say that cell phones are disruptive and distracting, and would like to banned them from the use in school. But I think otherwise, my cell phone has applications that are very useful in all classes. For example, the stopwatch application can be very useful in science class especially for labs. Cell phones can be used in many different ways for school work and/or if you just want to know the time.

Besides communication and school I also use my cell phone for entertainment. My phone's entertainment feature is very useful whenever I am waiting for the bus, on my way to work, during lunch break, or simply when I have a doctor's appointment. My phone has thousands of free games available that can be downloaded easily. Just by accessing to the internet, I can go on google, yahoo news, and you-tube. I don't...
