What Should Be the Official language of the United States?

Deciding whether or not the United States should have an official language has become quite controversial. Either you are for it or you are against it. I myself would be all for having English being the primary language of the Untied States. There have been several debates regarding this topic. Many attempts have been made to try to achieve English as the official language but have failed. There have been many historical people who have suggested that English should be the official language of the United States. On the other hand there also, have been people who don’t agree with having an official language. Although there has been many people on both sides of this problem and some being big famous people who are for and against it, and that is why we still are without an official language. Why we don’t have an official language, I don’t know but if every other country can declare an official language then why can’t the United States declare English as theirs. All I know is that the United States does need to have an official language, which should be English. It is crazy that the United States cannot make up their minds on what the official language should be. I mean the Untied States today makes everyone speak, read, and write in the English language why not make the language official. Therefore, we shall discover and discuss the problems why English has not been made the official language of the United States since it has been founded.
