Individual Essay Briefly compares the political government type in China and the United States. Which of the two would you prefer to do business in and why?

The political governmental differences between China and the United States are the key determining factors which much be examined to determine a preference of were to conduct business. This paper explores these differences and the current economic presentations of both economies. Ideologies are at the base of creating these differences in both countries governmental regimes, which show the variance of each countries management of global economic change.

In a generalised approach to identifying the core advantages and disadvantages of conducting business in the U.S. and China, Favouring the USA for business is its familiar western, English spoken, open market environment with the similar approach to tax and legal requirements of Australia. The U.S provides a more freedom base for developing business networks and provides easy access into the international market. Although the United States provides disadvantages as it has a mature market with various competition for a new market entrant, along with this is the factor of much higher labour costs compared to China. China shows a more undeveloped immature market compared to the U.S, giving a higher chance for success. The government will provide support for proven long term performing businesses, and also craves a desire for western brands and goods. Although, a negative side to conducting business in china is its challenging business culture of a different language and legal system, known corruption, lack of access to reliable data and low industry protection.
