Music Final

My lessons will consist of several different teaching methods for teaching of the class. The first method is a lecture style. Second style is class discussion. Third style is small groups. My class is directed towards middle school, but can be use for elementary school.

The first method that will be used is lecture. This style will be used in the teaching of the staff and notes. I will teach with use of the board. Plus, I will be using music sheets. Lecture will be one of the styles use in class.

The second method I will be using is class discussion. The class will analyze different music and songs. They will discus the beats, rhythms and time signature of the music. Also, we will discus different types of music. Class discussion will be used in my class.

The third type is small group style. In the small groups they will create a musician composition. They will decide what type of music they will use. Then they create the composition. Also, as a group they will play the song in front of the class. Small groups will be used for a project.
