A. Introduction

By studying a successful entrepreneur, we are able to understand on the behaviour on how they make decision or solving problems. All successful entrepreneurs will more a less share the same behaviour. Thus, by studying the behaviour of successful entrepreneur we are able to refer their behaviour with our lesson which we had learnt.

The entrepreneur which I have chosen is Mr. Li Ka-Shing which is also well known as “Superman” in Hong Kong. According to Forbes Mr. Li Ka-Shing is the eight richest people in the world with estimated wealth worth of USD 31 billion. Besides, Mr. Li Ka-Shing is also the richest person in East Asia. He is currently the chairman for Cheug Kong Holdings and Hutchinson Whampoa Limited. Both companies are a multi-industry company which is diversifying its business which includes plastics manufacturing, real estates, retail, ports and electricity, asset trader, internet, technology and etc. He is also known as one of Asia’s most generous philanthropist, he had donated over USD 1.41 billion to charity and also natural disaster aid fund.

Moreover, Mr. Li Ka-Shing a teacher’s son, refugee, started as waiter in a restaurant and then later on as a worker in a plastic trading company .He was forced to leave his school before 15 years old, which means he does not receive formal education. However, now he is one of the richest people in the world and also the most influencing person in Hong Kong. He was able to build an empire that involves in banking, real estate, construction, mobile phones, satellite television, plastics, retail outlets which focus more on pharmacies and supermarket, cement production, hotels, domestic transportation, airports, electric power, steel production, telecommunication and also shipping. Mr. Li Ka-Shing business cover every facet of like in Hong Kong, from electricity to telecommunication and from shipping to internet.
