What are the positive aspects of stereotypes, if any?

In reading this week’s chapter there were no positive aspects of stereotypes mentioned. In my own opinion I do not think any positive aspects exist because it is an assumption of other people that would not be considered completely truthful, or unbiased.

What are the negative aspects of stereotypes?

Stereotypes negative aspects are “negative traits to entire groups of people,
