If there is only 10% of the earth that is inhabitable and there are 95% of us living in that space, then we have far over reached our status of overpopulation and we have headed into urbanization, (Urbanization: 95% Of The World’s Population Lives On 10% Of The Land, 2008).

What I mean by that is that there are so many of the third world countries today that have no limitations as to how many children a woman can have and at what age she can start having them. This continues to be one of the biggest problems that the planet we know as Earth is facing. Too many people in one place, makes it hard not just on earth in general, but the water supply, the food chains, the trees for shelter in any one particular area, and the list goes on.

As a people regardless of our nationality or the part of the world that we were born in, there is still overconsumption of what this earth has to offer. We see everything as disposable, people included. In other countries such as China, the male to female ratio is 118 males to every 100 females. That means that they are throwing away the female babies because they are considered worthless and not strong enough to keep the family going later in years. The strange thing about that is even though all of these countries are overcrowded and people are going hungry, the growth rate of the world has slowly started to decline. That means by the end of the 21st century we will be all used up and there will be no one left here to tend to the earth....
