3. If you were Beverly Sadowsky, what advice would you give to Bob and George?

Conceptual aspect: - If I were Beverly Sadowsky, I will make some situation to explain some leadership and empowerment lectures to both Bob and George. At the side of George, he seems that he does not understand about the concept of empowerment and leadership. He pushes to Bob too much, even if Bob does his responsibilities on his tasks and knows which tasks are more weighed. Also, George’s behavior to Bob is improper to push Bob by using and showing off the level of Vice president. This is not the leadership and coercive power cannot be the components of empowerment concept. In other words, under the situation of coercive power, empowerment never cannot be happened.

As well, as the article mentioned, Bob is highly skilled person for various tasks, especially tasks that he has been doing since the start of his job in the corporation. Also, as he understands the empowerment and leadership concept very well, he just passes some tasks to low level guys, so that the low level guys can do their jobs by themselves. Of course, whenever the low-level guys face some problems, Bob tries to solve the problems together to make an effort to make them to comprehend what the problem is. Most skilled people know that it will take more time to teach and make unskilled people to understand how to solve the problem, rather than to do tasks by themselves. But, anyway, George is higher level than Bob. So, Bob should respect George even if Bob does not like George’s style and has longer experiences in this corporation. That is not the leadership that Bob can show to lower level than Bob. So, I would like to give some advice to Bob and George that it can be helpful to understand the concept of empowerment and leadership.
