In the country India, they practice the hindu religion. India brought forth all of the major religions. Some thought that Christianity was originated from Africa, but studies have shown that the country of India started the whole shebang of religions. The Hindu religion worshipped idols that they created. According to the Bible, in the Old Testament, man and women were worshipping statues, gold, the stars and moon.

What is Hinduism?

There is more than one religion that makes up Hinduism. And they are Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism. Some countries like Asia and South Asia practice Buddhism. For example, one cannot state that Hinduism still have an impact in India, since Christianity is sharing the Gospel all over the world. Every religion has conflict one with the other because of the knowledge that man has put here in the world. The Hindu religion believes that the world is existence as an illusion because the world does not worship idols.

The first group worships the holy and mundane rewards of this existence, i.e., health, wealth, children and good rebirth. The second group seeks release from this world. The first group takes their principles from the Vedas and the second group follows the way of life outlined in the Upanishads. Within these contradictions the Hindus view individual separation as mere illusion and all life is one. The Hindus view transmigration as a reality and, therefore, even though those who live a life of the highest karma (the law of causality) are released from the earthly cycle of life, all men are connected and not just to other men, "An individual is not real an individual, he is a link in the chain of life, a page in the chronicle of a soul; a species is not really a separate species, for the souls in these flowers or fleas may yesterday have been, or tomorrow may be, the spirits of men; all life is one," (Durant, 1963: 514).
