This kind of war resulted in the decomposition of the labor movement, an enhancement of the war on drugs, cutting in school and domestic programs, etc. Helpless people need a community to help them. Recent years, many people have varies of crisis such as unemployment. The rich people become richer and the poor people become poorer.

Critical Reading Response

I strongly agree with what the author says that “The rich have gotten richer, the poor have gotten poorer, and ignoring it ain’t working.” According to the article, the income of Americans of the top 1% increased by 275% over the last thirty years; however, the bottom 5th had just increased by 18%. Nowadays, people are facing an extreme problem, which is the income disparity. Unemployment rate is rising and many people loss their jobs. As a result, people’s debts are increasing and some of them become bankrupt. Some people need communities’ help as they become homeless. This community is very important to those poor to support them.

Essay Connection Response

As for the question “Argue that one or more of the following are mostly dangerous or beneficial: conformity, community, obedience, authority, individualism, nonconformity, disobedience”, in my opinion, community is very important for the helpless people. Every one comes together in a community to give a great support and help to these people. Also, in spite of write, black or blown people, they unite with each other to overcome different problems. They become a powerful community, which has an influence to the society. For instance, they would reflect the low unemployment rate to the government.
