Careen Interest

My Career Interest Profiler described me as Social, Conventional and Enterprising. Social means that I enjoy working with, and helping people. A Conventional career involve following a set routine or procedures, and a line of authority without deviation. An Enterprising career involved leading people, making many decisions, and leading startup projects.

Career matches from my Interest Profiler include working as a counselor, social worker, social service specialist, library occupation, teacher or instructor. My result concluded that I am willing to assist and guide people with emotional needs, teach new skills and provide services for people going through difficulties.

My competencies include adhering to values, cooperating, strategizing and innovating. My Work Culture result falls in three categories. Teamwork Centered indicates that I work well in a close knit team. Naturally, I will enjoy a lot of interdependence, and work with friendly and supportive colleagues. Expert means that my work will consist of ground breaking tasks, with high emphasis on specialized expertise and roles. My third category, being Well Resourced, shows that my work place will be safe, comfortable, well designed and have all the necessary resources to do high standard work.

Based on my results, there are a variety of employers and jobs that would fit my competency areas and culture preferences. For my enterprising interest, I will benefit more from starting my own small business or a franchise. This type of career will provide me with the opportunity to lead people and make my own decisions.
