Current state overview:
Gamer Gloves is in transition in the following areas:
* Launching an updated version of the product (version 2 or V2)
* Seeking opportunities to liquidate existing inventory (version 1 or V1)
* Exploring different manufacturers
* Exploring different distribution channels
* Exploring new market segments
The purpose of the next 90 days is to test the above areas of transition and identify a clear path for next steps.
Product Overview:
There are currently 3 versions of the product in inventory and/or in production:
V1 – The original product
* 6500 Units currently in inventory
V2A – A revision of the original product but designed exclusively for gaming (working name: Strickly Grip to denote the upgraded features)
* 1000 Units currently being manufactured in Pakistan
* Due to arrive by 11/1/13
V2B – A revision of the original product but designated for sports use
* 1000 Units currently being manufactured in China
* Due to arrive by 11/1/13
There are currently 2 segments being explored for distribution:
Video Gaming Line
* This is the original target market
* Version 2A is being designed to respond to customer feedback
Sports Line
* This is a secondary market segment that is spawning out of customer demand
* Growth in this area will be funded through “pre-orders”
