When researching certain health issues such as Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), it is important to research more than one website. Much information is available online, but one must consider that some information on website might not be true or different. Especially when researching through national, state, or local governmental health agency websites, there are some aspects one must take into account: it is important to look at how information overlaps, what type of structure is there between the levels of government, what functions are to see at those levels, how the levels work together, and how to define public and community health.

This review takes a look at three websites of the different levels of the government, such as the U.S. Army Medical Department of the Darnall Army Medical Center, the Strong Star, and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA). All three websites have multiple overlaps on information about the cause, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatments of PTSD. For the most part, the information overlaps on the cause. According to all three websites, PTSD is caused by living through natural disasters or life-threatening events such as wars. The websites also provide certain links that have more information on PTSD, which some of those links are the same on all three websites.

The structures of all three levels of the government differ in colors, pictures, and access of information. The national website has more basic information and is very organized within the different topics. The state website goes in more detail...
