Intro

The ad in question is selling a variety of SMART Tech products, but the main product in this ad is the SMART Tech podium. The primary approach the magazine called, Education Canada, is to sell the new technology of SMART Tech to schools that want to improve their classrooms. The magazine uses pictures of their products being effectively used to persuade the reader into believing that this new product will improve their classroom. This persuasion is works because the magazine gives confidence to the reader about the product. Otherwise, without pictures the reader may ask their self a variety of questions. How difficult is it to use the product? What does the product actually do? Will it even work correctly? But, by showing the product in action, it voids all those questions from the reader and if not it convinces them to research the product. This ad works because it leaves the reader without question about what the product does. It has examples of the products they have for any learning environment no-matter the age.

Audience Profile

As a magazine, Education Canada directs its work toward well-funded schools. In recent SMART Tech ad, it offers a new in classroom technology, a Smart Podium. The magazine reads that this product will “enable you to effortlessly control any curriculum and bring it to life.”But, it doesn’t read about cost, whether it if it is affordable or not, or if it can fit into a budget.

The magazine is appeals to teachers of all sorts. The magazine has SMART products for all ages. It also shows how easy it would be to improve a classroom with its product. It even has text that reads,” SMART’s line of products can transform your classroom and improve student performance.” Teachers that want to improve their classroom and help their students gain a new learning experience would be highly interested in SMART Tech.
