Advertisement is not as harmful as the majority believes

Dear Editor,

Recently, while I was on the Internet I found some interesting articles regarding advertisement which made me think about all the negatives people say about it. Nowadays everyone complains about how advertisement is everywhere, ruining the enjoyment of a TV program or that they are trying to enforce wrong values on people. But as I was reading those articles, I realized that commercials can actually be of help to a certain circle of people and also could be a sort of entertainment and bring us laughs.

DiCaprio even appeared in numerous Japanese advertisements for Honda.

There are tons of humorous ones that make us laugh or other just so ridiculous that all you can do is laugh at them. Besides that, there are some commercials that become so popular that people start making references to them in their daily life. The advertisement industry has gotten so creative that you can even watch shows dedicated just for funny commercials. All in all, people should not get so...
